ABOUT
Sydney Lines is an independent curator based in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds an MA in English literature and is currently pursuing an MA in Creative Enterprise and Cultural Leadership at Arizona State University. Her undergraduate degrees are in English literature and art museum studies also from Arizona State University.
In 2015, she was the Curatorial Research Intern for the ASU Art Museum and the Museum of Walking, an educational resource center devoted to the act of walking as an art practice. She currently works as a project coordinator in the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability at Arizona State University. Some of her recent exhibitions include the co-curatorial project Tagback: Redefining Local Street Art, at the Harry Wood and West Annex, in the ASU School of Art and a Google map project mapping and documenting over 100 Phoenix area murals, their locations, and pictures.
