Edgar Fernandez was born in Torrance California in 1990. He has always been inspired by art at a very young age. He began discovering his artistic abilities when he started drawing cartoon characters in middle school. Now, Edgar works predominately with various paint mediums, ceramics and also includes mix media to some of his work. He is currently working on finishing his Fine Arts degree at Phoenix College for the spring of 2016. He had his first solo art show at the Eric Fischl Gallery in Phoenix College year of 2013. He has worked on multiple mural collaborations for the community with other artists and youth around the Phoenix valley. Edgar works and lives in Tolleson. His work is deeply influenced by the philosophy of Unity. Edgar’s focus is to express his artistic journey through the heart of his creations, which will give every viewer a sense of inspiration within themselves.
